Godalming Community Gospel Choir was founded by Emma-Sue Prince in 2011 who had been singing with London-based gospel choirs for a number of years. On moving to Godalming with her family, Emma-Sue missed the passion and dynamics of gospel-singing and decided to start GCGC. Emma-Sue's vision was to have an inclusive gospel choir open to all and aspiring to musical excellence.  We now has many members of all ages and from all backgrounds.

We are an award-winning gospel choir who have won several categories in local competitions and we reached the national finals of BBC Gospel Choir of the Year competition in 2015.
